KIRKA – Police officers in Bandar Lampung City arrested a resident who was suspected of possessing 21 pieces of counterfeit money.
This news was conveyed by a police spokesman in Bandar Lampung City, Captain Halimatus on March 5, 2022.
Halimatus said the 21 notes that were allegedly counterfeit were owned by a resident who resides in Central Lampung Regency.
The owner of the allegedly counterfeit money was arrested for using the money to pay for the purchase of mobile phone credit at a shop in Bandar Lampung City.
Based on the shop owner’s report, the police arrested a resident with the initials MA.
MA admitted that he bought the fake money online with real money in cash. The Supreme Court admitted that he bought 21 pieces of allegedly counterfeit money at a price of Rp. 350,000.
